जंगलों में बढ़ती आग की घटनाओं के बीच नैनीताल और हल्द्वानी वन प्रभागों में संयुक्त वनाग्नि मॉक ड्रिल आयोजित की गई। अभ्यास में वन, पुलिस, स्वास्थ्य, एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ सहित कई विभागों ने भाग लिया। संचार तंत्र, राहत-बचाव, फायर लाइन और घायलों के उपचार की प्रक्रिया का परीक्षण कर आपात स्थिति में त्वरित और समन्वित कार्रवाई की तैयारी पर जोर दिया गया।
